Every day I learn something new about plastic. Today it was car tyres.
I had no idea that car tyres are made of around 60% plastic.
Each time I drive tiny microplastics are being shed and are potentially more pollutant than those created from washing clothing made of synthetic fabrics.
A reminder that plastic and it’s pollution is far reaching and doing something about it is going to take a huge global effort. Are we up to the challenge?
