As with almost all toothbrushes, the bristles contain plastic, however the Truthbrush bristles are made from 62% castor oil and 38% BPA-free nylon. Castor oil is a vegetable oil pressed from castor beans which means there is less petroleum-based plastic in these toothbrushes.
