This natural suncream from Shade comes in a recyclable tin and provides SPF25 level protection from the broadest spectrum of damaging UVA and UVB rays

Advantages...

  • Provides SPF25 protect and scores the equivalent of a 4 out of 5 stars on the UVA Star rating system
  • Tested to EU standards for suncream
  • Suitable for all skin types and children
  • 100% natural - contains just 4 ingredients: Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Beeswax and Zinc Oxide
  • Also a great moisturiser and good on insect bites and stings 
  • Tin is a great size to reuse later for storing soap or solid shampoo bars when travelling
  • Fragrance-free and may be a suitable alternative for those who are allergic to some chemical suncreams

    Disadvantages...

    • Contains beeswax, so not considered vegan-friendly (although they are currently testing a vegan version of the cream)
    • Will appear white after application due the the zinc oxide; this is the main sun protection ingredient
    • As with most cosmetic products which are packaged in tins there is a laminated disc in the lid of the tin. This should be removed before recycling.
