These zero waste chewable tabs by Denttab are mint-flavoured and have a foaming action making them one of the most similar alternative to regular toothpaste. Made in Germany.

"After trying several plastic-free toothpastes these toothtabs got the thumbs up in our house. They actually taste minty and do have some foaming action, as well as cleaning teeth well."
Available both with and without fluoride
No after-taste which we got with some natural toothpastes we tried
Handy for travelling
Suitable for Vegans
We wouldn't recommend these for younger children
There is a slightly odd taste when you first bite down on a tab, but no after-taste
A refill of 62 tabs costs ~£2.50, so would last me a month brushing twice per day. This is probably around x4 as expensive as my old toothpaste, but without the plastic, and similar in price to natural toothpastes.
